From the Blurb.

The tougher they are, the harder they fall…

Professional mercenary Dare Macintosh lives by one hard and fast rule: business should never be personal. If a cause appeals to him and the price is right, he'll take the mission he's offered. But then the lovely Molly Alexander asks him to help her track down the men who'd had her kidnapped—and for the first time, Dare's tempted to combine work with pleasure.

Fiercely independent, Molly vows to trust no one until she's uncovered the truth. Could the enemy be her powerful, estranged father? The ex-fiancé who still holds a grudge? Or the not-so-shy fan of her bestselling novels? As the danger heats up around them, the only anchor Molly has is Dare himself. But what she feels for him just might be the most frightening thing of all…

REVIEW: 4 out of 5 Stars
When You Dare is the first novel I have read by Author, Lori Foster and the first in the 'Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor' series.

Dare Macintosh is a Professional Mercenary who is in Tijuana, Mexico to rescue his best friends sister from human traffickers, in the process of retrieving her he finds another American woman who has been drugged, beaten, starved and abused; so in an act of goodwill rescues her as well.

Molly Alexander is a famous Romantic Suspense author and fiercely independent; she is at a loss as to why someone would want her abducted; Not fitting the profile of the other girls, she questions who and why someone would want to kidnap her, she hires Dare as her personal bodyguard to protect her and to find those responsible.

I absolutely adored Dare! He is a true alpha hero; sexy, kind and caring towards Molly’s needs and recovery; he was wonderful in every sense & I loved the relationship he had with his best friend Trace, PA Chris and of the way he adored his ‘girls’.

The characters were well thought out, I enjoyed the dynamic between Dare and Molly; they complimented one another well and the smexy scenes were hot and steamy!

I enjoyed watching Molly go from weak and deflated to a strong and em, powered woman with thanks to Dare, he has a fierce protective streak of everyone he is connected to and was methodical in his processes.

I was able to figure out the villain halfway through the story, it isn’t a complicated plot and the resolution was a tad bit predictable

When You Dare was filled with action, suspense and romance; I loved all of the characters and can’t wait to read more about Trace in ‘Trace of Fear’ – release date 31st May.
