Waiting on Wednesday (22nd May) - Hover by Melissa West

Hi everyone, thank-you so much for stopping by my WoW!

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine which spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

I have chosen two books this week, the first is a sequel – Hover by Melissa West, I really enjoyed the first book, Gravity in The Taking series so I’m eager to see how the story unfolds.

My second WoW is Unbreakable which is the first book in the Legion series by Kami Garcia and sounds amazing!

Author: Melissa West
Series: The Taking
Genre: Young Adult
Publisher: Entangled Teen
Release Date: 6th August 2013

Synopsis: (Goodreads)

On Earth, seventeen-year-old Ari Alexander was taught to never peek, but if she hopes to survive life on her new planet, Loge, her eyes must never shut.

Because in this world, pleasure is everything, held up by a ruling body that keeps their people in check by giving them what they want and closing their eyes to what's really happening around them. The only hope Loge has is to move its people to Earth, and they have a plan.

Thousands of humans crossed over to Loge after a poisonous neurotoxin released into Earth’s atmosphere, nearly killing them. They sought refuge in hopes of finding a new life, but what they became were slaves, built to siege war against their home planet. That is, unless Ari and Jackson can stop them.

But on Loge, nothing is as it seems…and no one can be trusted.

What is your WoW this week?

  6. Ooh Unbreakable looks tense...however the presence of twin brothers is making me nervous as that sounds like the beginning of a love triangle to my dismay.
