An assassin’s loyalties are always in doubt.
But her heart never wavers.
After a year of hard labor in the Salt Mines of Endovier, eighteen-year-old assassin Celaena Sardothien has won the king's contest to become the new royal assassin. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown – a secret she hides from even her most intimate confidantes.
Keeping up the deadly charade—while pretending to do the king's bidding—will test her in frightening new ways, especially when she's given a task that could jeopardize everything she's come to care for. And there are far more dangerous forces gathering on the horizon -- forces that threaten to destroy her entire world, and will surely force Celaena to make a choice.
Where do the assassin’s loyalties lie, and who is she most willing to fight for?

Both of these!! So good!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Insurgent yet. What a shame, right? :DD But I think I'm going to like it. On the other hand Sarah J. Maas...... well let's just say I wasn't captivated by the first book. So, Crown of Midnight won't be getting on my TBR.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

I am looking forward to Allegiant. I really hope the series ends well. I loved Divergent and I liked Insurgent, though not as much as Divergent, which I read 4 times. Great picks.
ReplyDeleteAllegiant is a definite OMGIWANTITNOW book! Just a few more months! I have a feeling most of the blogosphere will be reading it on release day. lol

I'm so excited for Allegiant. I can't wait to find out what's going on after the second book's ending. I still need to read Throne of Glass, but I plan to get to it this summer before this one's release. Great picks!
