My WoW for this week is Daughter of Chaos by Jen McConnel, I love reading about anything witchy so I’m pretty eager to read this one.

Witches must choose the path they will follow, and Darlena Agara is no exception. She’s been putting it off long enough, and in her case, ignoring it has not made it go away. But alas, Darlena’s wrong (again) and she becomes a newly declared Red Witch.

But Darlena believes there must be more to Red Magic than chaos and destruction, and she sets out on a journey to achieve balance. Only doing so puts her at odds with the dark goddess Hecate, who simply will not allow Darlena to quit. She encourages Darlena to embrace who and what she is and to leave good magic to the good witches. If only Darlena could, life would be simple, and she would not be the Daughter of Chaos.

    Pretty cover! I love that it's a finite set of books, first of all - what a relief to know it's limited to three books and you know when it will end. It sounds terrific, I'm with you on loving witchy goddessy things. This is new to me, great pick. :)

    I haven't read many witches books, but the few I've read have been a lot of fun. I love the sound of this one and that cover is really pretty.

    I saw this cover the other day, but didn't read the synopsis. It sounds so interesting. I'll definitely be on the lookout for this one. I love witchy books, too. Great pick!
