Feature and Follow Friday (13th July)

FF 2012 Feature & Follow #104
Hi everyone!!

Thank-you for stopping by..

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful Parajunkee & Alison Can Read

This weeks featured blogs: Vivaciously, Vivian and a GREAT Read

Question: What drove you to start book blogging in the first place?

I was reading a lot and ‘stalking’ a number of other book blogs for ideas on what to read and decided I wanted a place (besides Goodreads/Amazon etc.) to log my thoughts and keep track of what I had read.

Also, no one I know in ‘real life’ shares my love of books so it was a great way to share my thoughts and meet like minded bloggers who shared my love of reading.

What to do..
  • Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
  • Follow the featured weekly bloggers
  • Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few.
  • The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  • If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back.
  • Spread the Love...and the followers
  • If you're new to the follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
While you’re here check out this weeks author interviews & the cover reveal for MJ Fletcher's The Mapmakers Union:

Britt Bury – author of The Darkest Day
Diana Murdock – author of Souled
M.J. Fletcher - The Mapmakers Union

Have a great weekend!!

  7. I think a lot of us started blogs for similar reasons, it's a great to talk about our love of books!

Also, hi again! We're now following your blog!

  8. Yeah no one in my real life likes the books I do. Although one of my friends has been slowly getting into them, but I hardly see her anymore, so busy all the time. Blogging has become great fun!

    Here's my Friday Hops

    I was a featured blogger!!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    Old Follower :)

  9. So many similarities in so many of these stories. It's so great for this community to connect this way! My FFs are on my blogs if you want to check them out! Happy Friday! :D

  10. A place to share a love of books seems to be a common answer this week! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am an old follower!

  11. Haha, great answer; I didn't do any stalking before creating mine [other than reading a couple of blogs]... That habit developed after creating my blog!

    *New follower via GFC.

  12. Ha, readers seem to be the minority in most cities :) I've read from so many people this week how they didn't know anyone to obsess over books with! It's the same way for me, though.
I'm a new follower and you can find my FF here:

  13. I think all us bloggers have similar stories! It's so need to see everyone's unique tastes! Check out My FFF? New follower.

  14. I do believe that this is the only medium (i.e. book blogging) where we (the stalkees) encourage stalking (by the stalkers). Because I totally do! :)

I'm a new follower via GFC!!

  15. Definitely is a good way to keep track of your thoughts on books.

Thanks for stopping by my FF. :)

  16. Yeah, I understand that! I have two friends who still read YA so the blog is absolutely necessary. Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm a new follower :)

  17. I was stalking blogs too for book recommendations but I almost feel like I find more by blogging.

Thank-you so much for stopping by today!

I love to receive your comments, please leave your blog link & I'll be sure to stop by.

I also respond to your comment here on my blog :)
