Hi everyone!!
Thank-you so much for stopping by..
This weeks featured blogs: Readers Confession and Escapism
Question: What hyped up book do you think was
not worth all the talk?
For me, it was Breaking
Dawn by Stephenie Meyer – I admit to being a BIG Twilight fan when it was
first released, I really loved Twilight, only liked New Moon, Eclipse was
alright but Breaking Dawn left me gaping.

I agree about Breaking Dawn...although as I read through the book, I laughed...ALOT. It was the only way to finish it. It's such a shame that's how the books ended. I read Twilight years ago before the fandom hype and it was just this cute, fun little read. I had no idea people would take it so seriously.
I agree with you. Breaking Dawn was disappointing.

ReplyDeleteI really really enjoyed the Twilight series, but if we are to concentrate specifically on Breaking Dawn, I must admit that it wasn't all THAT awesome as compared to the first three books!
ReplyDeleteHere's my F&FF post.

You didn't love Breaking Down?! HOW COULD YOU?! *stomps away angrily*
ReplyDeletenAAAAAAH, just kidding!
Yes, these books were hyped beyond ridiculous, but hey, they kind started it all for us, YA lovers, didn't they? :P Funny how most of the people seem to hate Twilight series with burning fierceness now hahaha. I liked the books. Liked them quite a lot. Until the movies came out and Kristen and her potato-face acting spoiled it all for me:)
I totally understand why you picked Breaking Down and I'm with you on that one, though for me I'd say it would be Starters by Lisa Price. Didn't enjoy it at all ;/
There was a time when I was a fan of Twilight but now... not so much.

I was a Twilight fan before, but Breaking Dawn didn't even need to happen. It was a waste of a book -.-
