Pages: 400
Publisher: Entangled Teen
Release date: 3rd November 2015

Synopsis (Goodreads) - Imagine a world where your destiny has already been decided...by your future self.

It's Callie’s seventeenth birthday and, like everyone else, she's eagerly awaiting her vision―a memory sent back in time to sculpt each citizen into the person they're meant to be. A world-class swimmer. A renowned scientist.

Or in Callie's case, a criminal.

In her vision, she sees herself murdering her gifted younger sister. Before she can process what it means, Callie is arrested and placed in Limbo―a hellish prison for those destined to break the law. With the help of her childhood crush, Logan, a boy she hasn’t spoken to in five years, she escapes.

But on the run from her future, as well as the government, Callie sets in motion a chain of events that she hopes will change her fate. If not, she must figure out how to protect her sister from the biggest threat of all—Callie, herself.

Review: 4 ½ out of 5 stars

Forget Tomorrow is the first book in Pintip Dunn's Forget Tomorrow series and follows the story of 17-year old Callie Stone.

It is set in a world where everyone receives a small vision of their future at the age of seventeen, when Callie receives a memory of herself committing a criminal act against someone she loves she doesn’t anticipate ending up arrested and placed in a centre for those destined to break the law. With the help of an old friend, Logan she manages to escape in the hopes of changing her future.

Forget Tomorrow is a fast paced, exciting read with a fascinating premise; I do remember reading another YA series with a very similar concept but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was.

The characters were interesting and complex; I enjoyed Callie’s strength and determination; she was fiercely loyal to her mother and sister. I had mixed feelings about Logan initially because I didn’t quite understand why he had abandoned Callie years prior only to reconnect when she was in a bit of trouble but it all fell into place, I enjoyed peeling back the layers of Logan’s personality.

Forget Tomorrow is written very well, we are left with a doozy of a cliff-hanger ending so I am more than eager to get hold of the next book in the series which has an anticipated October 2016 release date.

Overall, filled with action, adventure and a great cast of characters, I was hooked on this unique dystopian from the very first page. Highly recommended but anticipate the cliff-hanger.
